FATMUG Rides and Clinics

Why mess with a good thing? We’ve had a
Wednesday evening ride going every week (trail conditions
permitting) since the summer of 2009 and we’ve got no plans to stop
it. We meet at the Foo Bridge, ready to ride, at 6pm. The ride is
on the faster side and usually lasts about an hour to an hour and
half. Check sunset times and weather report (cloudy vs. clear) to
determine if you need to bring lights. For up-to-the-minute

SKILLS CLINIC
come on… it’s totally FREE!
The clinic will cover:
- Braking – Ride faster by braking smarter.
- Shifting – Get into the right gear at the right time.
- Climbing – Hills can be tough. Don’t let ‘em get you down.
- Technical Features – Logs, Rocks & Roots. Learn to love them.
This skills clinic is a component of the larger Bike Rally planned in conjunction with Fredericksburg Pathways Partners. The mountain bike clinic will be repeated every hour, on the hour, from 10am-1pm with a group ride to the Quarry to follow. Be sure to bring a helmet!
